I built a design tool that changes the composition, not just the styling

I’ve been working on NORMA, a visual composition tool based on proportion, balance, rhythm, asymmetry and harmonic geometry.

Most design tools are very good at styling things — changing fonts, colors, effects, templates.

But I became interested in a different question:

What if the composition itself is the thing that needs changing?

NORMA explores the hidden structure underneath a visual. You can generate compositions, keep the parts you like, and explore new arrangements without starting over.

The idea is to make principles that designers often learn intuitively — hierarchy, negative space, proportion, tension, rhythm — something you can actually interact with.

I’m deliberately trying to avoid turning it into another template library or generic AI design generator.

It’s still early, and I’m looking for a very specific kind of feedback:

When you use NORMA, do the resulting compositions actually feel stronger — or do they feel like arbitrary rearrangements?

That distinction matters much more to me right now than adding more features.
