I built a free Ahrefs alternative using Groq Llama 3 & Google Trends (Monetized via eBook)

I got tired of every keyword tool asking for $99/mo just to see basic search volume, so I built my own free alternative: The Trending Topic.

💡 The Tech Stack:

Frontend: Next.js 14 (App Router)
AI: Groq API running llama-3.3-70b-versatile (It's insanely fast!)
Data: Google Trends API + YouTube Data API
Hosting: Vercel
🚀 How it works: Instead of relying on expensive databases, it pulls live trend data from Google and uses Llama 3 to analyze the "Why" behind the trend. It gives you:

Real search volume estimates.
AI Difficulty Scores (calculated based on competition).
Content ideas & blog titles generated by AI.
💸 The Experiment: I didn't want to add ads or a subscription. Instead, I added a simple "Support Box" that asks users to buy my $2 eBook on Amazon if they find the tool useful. It's a "value-for-value" experiment.
