Hey IH! π
After months of knee pain on every ride, I went down the rabbit hole of bike fitting. Professional fittings? $200+. YouTube tutorials? Confusing and contradictory. Existing apps? Paid, require video uploads, or iOS-only.
So I built MyBikeFitting, a free tool that analyzes your cycling position directly in your browser using your webcam.
What it does:
- Live webcam analysis (see your angles update as you pedal)
- Also works with video upload or photo
- Measures 4 key angles: knee extension, hip, back, arms
- Gives specific recommendations: "raise saddle 2cm", etc.
- Works on any bike type (road, MTB, gravel, triathlon...)
Tech stack:
- Next.js
- MediaPipe (Google's pose estimation) β runs entirely client-side
- No backend needed for the analysis = privacy-first
What's next:
I'm keeping it 100% free for now to gather feedback and build a user base. Eventually planning a freemium model with advanced features.

Would love your feedback! Especially interested in:
1. Is the value proposition clear?
2. Any UX friction you noticed?
3. Would you pay for this?
If yes, what features would justify it? Thanks for reading! π
