I built a free AI stock & crypto research platform — early feedback welcome

Over the past year, I’ve been building a website called SiriusInvestors.com. It started out of frustration, whenever I wanted to research a stock or ETF or crypto, I had to juggle 4–5 different sites for charts, fundamentals, news, and technicals… and half of them were hidden behind paywalls.

So I decided to make my own tool:

  • Free to start with — no trials, no paywalls

  • All-in-one — stocks, ETFs, and crypto fundamental and technical analysis on a single platform

  • Fine-tuned AI models — quick, easy-to-read and reliable AI analysis based on real-time market data and news

It’s still early days, but I’d love to get some brutally honest feedback from the IH community. My goal is to make professional-grade investing insights accessible to everyone, whether you’re just starting out or already deep into trading.

If you have a moment to check it out, I’d appreciate your thoughts — what works, what’s missing, and what would make you actually use it regularly.

    Just a personal suggestion!

    1. I thought your gradient colors looks good on dark mode but in light mode I think you should limit your color usage atleast for the landing page.

Thank you for the feedback, appreciate it! I've note it down and currently working on the UI improvement, will definitely take that into consideration 👍

That’s an impressive build 👏 — love how you’ve solved the “too many tabs, too many paywalls” problem with an all-in-one solution. I think the free-to-start angle is especially powerful for driving early adoption. I’m working on something in a different space (legal tech) called LawColab, where we’re also focused on reducing complexity by bringing everything professionals need into one platform. Totally agree that simplifying access and cutting friction is the way forward

Thank you so much 🙏 Really appreciate it! Exactly — the “too many tabs, too many paywalls” frustration is what motivated me to build Sirius Investors in the first place. I wanted a single place where people can access real-time data and AI analysis without jumping across multiple platforms.

LawColab sounds super interesting, I love the parallel in legal tech. Reducing complexity and cutting friction is such a universal problem across industries. Wishing you the best with your build, and would be happy to connect and share notes anytime!

Really nice work. I like the all in one flow and the summaries are easy to scan. I noticed you have a free tier and a Premium plan at 11 dollars per month for the advanced screener and alerts. What will remain free long term and how often does data refresh on the free tier?

Hey! Thank you for the great feedback! 🙌

For free users, we offer real-time, full data access to all major U.S. stocks listed on the S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, and Dow Jones, plus a lot more. You can see the full list of free assets here 👉 siriusinvestors.com/free-assets.

For paid users, you’ll get access to all 75,000+ global stocks and ETFs, along with AI-powered analysis using 10+ models at no extra cost. 🚀

On the free tier, data refreshes in real time for covered assets, so you can count on always seeing the latest information.

Thanks a lot! Hope that you will switch to HustleAdvisor completely from HustleAdvisor lol

Thanks for the clear breakdown. The all in one flow reads well, and real time refresh on the free tier is strong.

Quick idea that could help both of us. Me and my team are launching HustleAdvisor, a social network where entrepreneurs share practical lessons and earn from paid posts. We can offer free Premium at launch, lower fees, and referral rewards for your community. In return, a short test, honest feedback, and one practical post on how you are building Sirius. We will feature it so you reach new users.

        1. 1

Thank you for the offer! HustleAdvisor sounds like a great initiative, and I’m happy to collaborate. I like the idea of cross sharing practical lessons between our communities.

I’d be glad to test it out, share valuable feedback, and write a post on how I’m building Sirius. Let me know about the next steps so we can get things rolling. If you like, you can also send me an email: contact@siriusinvestors.com

This is a really impressive platform. The amount of data you've consolidated into a single, clean interface is a huge accomplishment. I especially like the modern UI and typography – it feels very professional.

I just signed up for an account to explore the dashboard further, and I might have found a small bug you'd want to look at. After I created my account and was logged in, the "Sign Up Free" button was still visible in the main navigation. When I clicked it, thinking it might take me to the dashboard, the page just refreshed.

It's a small thing, but I wanted to give you a heads-up! It's a fantastic tool, and I'm excited to see how it develops. Congrats on the launch!

    1. 1

Thank you so much for the kind words and for signing up 🙌 Really appreciate you pointing this out, you were absolutely right, there was a small bug with the Sign Up Free button still showing after registration. I’ve fixed it now ✅

From now on, after signing up, users are immediately logged in and will see their profile at the top right corner instead of the sign-up button.

      1. 1

Wow, that was a super fast fix! That's awesome.

Happy I could help point it out. Congrats again on a great product launch!

Nice work — pulling everything into one place without a paywall is definitely valuable.

First impression: the AI summaries are clear, but I’d love to see more transparency on how they’re generated (what data they pull, update frequency). That kind of trust factor usually makes or breaks whether I’d use a tool like this regularly.

    1. 1

Hey, thanks a lot for checking it out and for the thoughtful feedback 🙏. You’re totally right, trust is a huge factor for tools like this, and I need to do a better job of being transparent about the “how” behind the summaries. Right now, the platform pulls in real-time market data (prices, charts, fundamentals, news, etc.) and combines it with AI models I’ve fine-tuned to generate the insights. I’m also working on adding a simple “data source + last updated” note alongside the analysis so users know exactly where the info comes from and how fresh it is. I will add more details to make it more transparent

Really appreciate you pointing this out, making the platform not just useful but trustworthy is high on my roadmap. Thanks again for helping me see it from a user’s perspective!

Why are the ETFs expense ratio's multiplied by 100? Definitely fix that, it could be misleading. I like the websites modern typography though, great job.

    1. 1

Hey, thank you for checking the details 👍! I just fixed the issue https://www.siriusinvestors.com/etf/SPY

Hey, just checked your site. Personally I love the UI design.
I am not an investor or never tried anything related to it hence as someone new to such tools, site content was overwhelming for me and hard to understand core features of the tool. Site looks amazing though great work 🤍

    Points to notice:
In some part of sections there is too much of data and low color contrast making it look congested for example Market Predictions section
and in few sections like AI-Powered Investment Research components are not structured well enough leaving huge empty space in sections an between sections.

    1. 1

Thank you for the detailed feedback! Really appreciate that, I will update the site accordingly 👍

  8. 1

When I see models that are only fine-tuned, I always wonder what training data they were actually built on. It would also be helpful to share more details on how you’re making the predictions — otherwise the page just feels like something Claude could generate in a few minutes

    1. 1

Hey! Thank you, that’s a fair point! I totally understand the skepticism around “fine-tuned models” when it’s not clear what data is behind them. To clarify, the platform isn’t just running a generic LLM response, I’m combining market data (price history, fundamentals, and real-time price) with a structured pipeline that feeds into the model so the insights are grounded in actual numbers, not just generic text generation.

I haven’t published the full technical breakdown yet, but I’ll work on adding a bit more transparency to the site so it’s clearer how the results are generated. Appreciate you pointing this out, it’s super useful feedback!

      1. 1

        Super, thanks for the followup

Hey, just checked out your project - awesome work! Although I can see what the other commenter meant with "getting lost on the page" I think for this type of site you want to tell the users about any feature they might be interested in right from the start.

What's kind of stopping me from signing up is the fact that I already have accounts for a couple of sites that have a very similar offering. Not sure what your current signup rate is, but you might want to look into "niching down" a bit, if you know what I mean.

For example, I'm also working on an AI-powered investing site called StockTalker AI where I decided to focus only on one tiny USP: creating stock price alerts using natural language. It's helped me define the product and find a specific audience (or at least, that's the plan).

    1. 1

Hey! Thank you for the valuable feedback, I really appreciate it. You’re right, I’ve been trying to cover a lot, and I’m currently brainstorming how to niche down the website so it can better convert visitors into sign-ups.

I really like your idea about offering stock alerts, I think it could add a lot of value for retail investors! Have you done any research so far, there are many sites offer similar services, how do you differentiate yourself from them?

Nevertheless, best of luck with your own project as well.

      1. 1

        Glad the feedback was helpful!

I didn't do a lot of research to be fair. It's more a scratch-my-own-itch kind of situation! The main differentiator is the conversational interface I would say. I'm not aware of any other tools out there that let you just type out stock price alerts using plain English.

Happy to chat more about it anytime!

        1. 1

That's indeed super cool, Im also building a ai stock screener so users can find stocks using plain English. Do you offer any free trials for your product? Would love to try it out and maybe it will be useful for my own investment portfolio.

          1. 1

Yes, I have a free-forever plan actually! Feel free to check out all the details here:

            http://stocktalkerai.com/

Let me know if you have any kind of feedback and/or updates about your (stocks-related) projects!

            1. 1

Awesome! I'll test it out and let you know about the feedback 👍

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I developed it using Next.js

  11. 1

Hate to be this guy, but immediate reaction was: too much on the page. Getting lost on what am I getting. But I am no investor so what do I know haha

Side question, what did you use for the site, what tech? Looks nice

    1. 1

Hey, thank you for the feedback! I developed it using Next.js

    2. 1

I felt the same way. It was information overload and I became instantly discouraged from actually getting to know what the core offerings were. My take as a Product Manager and also a founder, keep the UI clean and simple, enhance the UX for users and scale down. What do I mean, you are just starting up, keep the MVP offering to the core functionality or 2 to 3 features that meet your target user needs.

      1. 2

Hey, thank you for the detailed feedback, really appreciate that! I am working on the homepage UI improvement right now and will definitely take your advice into consideration 👍
