I built a free insurance calculator site for people mainstream sites ignore

I got frustrated with insurance sites that make you hand over your phone number before showing any numbers. So I built My Insurance Calc — 14 free, browser-based insurance calculators. No signup, no data collected, instant results.

The focus from day one was gaps mainstream sites don't cover well: cancer survivors trying to get life insurance, freelancers figuring out what coverage they actually need, high-risk applicants who get generic answers everywhere else.

Current status (May 2026):

• 14 calculators live (life, auto, home, health, disability, pet, EV, motorcycle, SR-22, and more)

• 20+ in-depth guides

• 2,770 impressions in first 3 months on Search Console

• AdSense pending approval

Still early, but the cancer survivor series is getting traction — the life-insurance-after-cancer page alone accounts for ~45% of total impressions.
