I built a free mission statement generator because 4,700 people search for it every month

MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄🎅🥹

Was doing keyword research for my main product (ChampSignal: competitive intelligence tool) and noticed "mission statement generator" gets 4,700 searches/month on Google. Competition looked wuite low. Thought "why not build something and see what happens?" :D

Spent about 2-3 days on it.

How it works:

  1. Paste your website URL
  2. AI scrapes your site and figures out what you do, who you serve, what makes you different
  3. Pick a tone (professional, bold, friendly, inspirational, minimal)
  4. Get a mission statement draft in like 10 seconds
  5. Tweak inputs and regenerate until it feels right

Uses GPT-5.2 with web search to analyze your site. No signup. No paywall. No email.

If you don't have a website yet, there's a "describe manually" option.

Being fully transparent: this is an SEO play. I'm hoping it brings some traffic to my main product. But I tried to make it actually useful instead of throwing something low-effort at the wall.

Curious about a few things:

  1. Anyone else build side tools as SEO plays? How's it working out?
  2. Does the AI get your business right from just the URL?
  3. Was the generated statement a decent starting point or totally off?

Happy to share the SEO logic behind this if anyone's interested.

Hey Maxime — tried it and I’m impressed! The AI captured the core of my business really well. One thing I noticed: for startups with nuanced positioning or multiple audiences, it sometimes needs a bit more context to land the right tone. That’s exactly where I usually help founders refine messaging so it resonates clearly from day one.

Really smart tool — feels like a huge time saver for early-stage founders trying to get their mission right!

I used the tool and liked it. I don't have a website at the moment to display my mission statement but I'm saving it for when I'm at that point!
Not sure if you are open to feedback but if you are, the z-index of the first input for the manual input form is a bit off. I would also like to have the option to have a character limit since Tesla's and Airbnb's is a one liner and mine is a whole paragraph 😅

Other than that, it's very useful!

Quick context on why I built this:

I noticed something: most founders struggle to explain what they actually do clearly!

A mission statement forces you to get specific. Who exactly do you serve? Why do you exist? What's actually different about you?

GPT-5.2 with web search does a surprisingly decent job figuring out a business from just the URL. It reads your site, makes educated guesses, and gives you something like 80% of the way there. You just tweak from there.

    Built with SvelteKit!
