Hey IH 👋
I'm Fylora's founder, and I want to share why I built this and what I've learned so far.
The problem Every time I needed to merge or compress a PDF, I'd land on a tool drowning in ads, hit with a "sign up to continue" wall, or — worst of all — my file would silently get uploaded to some random server. For a free tool. That felt deeply wrong.
What I built Fylora is a free online PDF toolkit — merge, split, compress, convert, OCR and more — but with one core difference: everything runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
No uploads. No accounts. No ads. No subscriptions.
Where I am right now
Just launched this week on Product Hunt
19 tools live and working
Zero paying users (it's free), but trying to grow organic traffic
What I need help with Honestly — distribution. The product works great, but I'm struggling to get it in front of people who'd actually care about privacy-first tools. If anyone has experience growing a free utility SaaS, I'd love to hear what worked for you.
Would love any feedback on the product or the positioning!
Bravo. Easy useful and very much neede
Thank you so much for giving it a try.
