I built a free SEO tool with 25+ features. 2 clicks in 28 days. What am I missing?

Hi, I'm Eduard. I built an AI-powered SEO audit tool. It's free, no signup. Here's what it does:

✅ 12-dimension SEO analysis
✅ Core Web Vitals, schema validation, content scoring
✅ AI-generated recommendations
✅ Competitor SERP comparison
✅ 25+ tools (meta tag analyzer, keyword clusters, rank tracker, content editor...)
✅ It works. I tested it against Ahrefs and Semrush — it finds real issues. The codebase is solid: Next.js 16, TypeScript strict, Supabase, Tailwind.

But here's the reality:

28 days live. Google Search Console says:

💔 2 clicks
💔 2,330 impressions
💔 Position 76.8
💔 "ai seo analyzer tool" — 214 impressions, 1 click. "wordpress seo audit" — 178 impressions, 0 clicks.

What I'm struggling with:

➖ I'm on a Vercel subdomain ($12/year domain is my budget right now). Google doesn't trust it.
➖ The WordPress integration I planned doesn't work yet. It's just a frontend tool. The "one-click fix" is not real.
➖ I have no backlinks. DA is probably 5. Competing against Ahrefs (DA 91) and Semrush (DA 89).
➖ I'm building features nobody sees. 25 tools, blog posts, full schema markup — all invisible on page 8 of Google.

What would you do?

I have evenings and weekends. No budget. The tool works but nobody knows it exists. Are there any founders here who have already gone through these stages? I would also be interested in collaboration or co-ownership.

Options I'm considering:

➕ Build the WordPress plugin (easier distribution via WP.org)
➕ Focus only on content (SEO blog + free tools)
➕ Pivot to something less crowded
➕ Keep grinding and wait 6-12 months

🟢 What's the move here? Honest takes appreciated.

One thought I had reading this: you're treating the lack of users as evidence that the product hasn't reached the market.

It might also be evidence that the market hasn't reached the product yet. Those lead to very different decisions, even though the dashboard looks identical.

The line that stood out to me was "I'm building features nobody sees."

One thought: you seem to have good visibility into the outcomes (impressions, rankings, clicks), but much less visibility into the decisions behind them.

Knowing that 2,330 people saw the site is useful. Knowing why almost all of them chose not to click would probably be even more valuable. Sometimes the biggest gap isn't traffic - it's understanding the decision process that leads to (or away from) your product.

Those are excellent tips, Mark—thank you very much.

To be honest, I’m actually surprised that people find anything on pages 8–10 of Google.

Thanks for your reply; that’s true—we shouldn't expect anything grand from the Vercel deployment =)
