I’ve always found it weird how something as simple as getting dressed can turn into a 10-minute decision.
You have a shirt you like.
You have a pair of pants that should work with it.
Then you start wondering:
“Do these colors actually go together?”
So I built Outfit Color Matcher.
It’s a free tool that helps you figure out which clothing colors work well together before you leave the house.
You pick the colors of the clothes you’re wearing (or thinking about wearing), and the tool suggests combinations that actually make sense together.
No account.
No complicated setup.
No fashion knowledge required.
Just pick your colors and see what works.
There are plenty of fashion apps out there, but a lot of them are focused on shopping, trends, AI-generated outfits, or building a digital wardrobe.
I wanted something much simpler.
Sometimes you don't need an AI stylist. You just want to know:
“Can I wear this with that?”
That’s the problem I’m trying to solve.
Outfit Color Matcher is a new project, so I’m still figuring out what people actually want from it.
Right now, I’m mainly interested in seeing how people use it and where it falls short.
I’d especially love feedback from people who:
struggle with matching colors
care about how their outfits look
are building their wardrobe
or just want to get dressed faster in the morning
You can try it here:
It’s completely free.
If you try it, I'd honestly love to know one thing:
Did it help you choose an outfit faster?
