I built a free tool that catches Pine Script repaint bugs before they cost you money

Quick backstory. I kept seeing traders get burned by TradingView strategies that looked great in the tester and fell apart live. The code compiled fine. The problem was never syntax, it was repainting, the script quietly using future data without you noticing.

Any AI can generate Pine Script that compiles now, that part is solved. So I built codemyedge to do the hard part: it actually runs your strategy on real data and shows you the chart, so you can see if it used information it should not have.

It works inside Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. Paste a connector link in, describe your strategy in plain English, get back working Pine Script plus a chart preview.

Pricing, no games. Script generation is unlimited and free, no card needed. Chart previews, the part that actually catches repaint bugs, are free up to 10 a day. Want more? Founding Member is 29 dollars a year, price locked while you stay. Signup is just an email and a 6 digit code.

Before building this I looked at a couple other paid Pine Script AI tools. The complaint I kept finding from real users was the same one: unreliable output once you needed it, and slow or missing support after they had paid. So the bet here is free and honest beats paid and unreliable, at least while I earn people's trust.

Happy to answer anything about how the repaint check works.

The distinction between code that compiles and code that behaves correctly live is pretty clear here. Curious how traders react when they see the chart expose something the backtest didn't.

Thanks for checking it out, really appreciate it.

The “looks great in the tester and falls apart live” problem is a really sharp wedge, especially since you’re showing the actual chart instead of just saying the script is correct. This feels like it could be pulling in a lot more organic traffic than it is right now, particularly with the free entry point and a very specific pain like repainting. At $500/mo already, I’d be curious what you’re seeing from people discovering it.
