I built a free tool to check if a wholesale distributor is legit

I sell on Amazon FBA and kept running into the same problem. You find a company that calls itself a wholesale distributor, you spend an hour filling out their application, and it turns out they are a liquidator or a reseller with no actual brand relationship. Their invoices are useless for ungating.

There was no fast way to check before applying. So I built one.

You enter a company name or website. It looks at public signals - whether the site uses authorized-dealer language, whether there is a real B2B wholesale portal, what business infrastructure exists. It shows you the signals it found. It does not tell you a company is good or bad, because I am not in a position to judge someone else's business. It just shows you what is publicly there so you can decide whether to spend the hour.

Free, 10 checks a day, no signup and no email.

Would be curious whether other sellers find this useful or whether I am solving a problem only I have.
