I built a group trip planner because getting everyone to sign up was the worst part

Every group trip I’ve planned somehow ends up the same way:

💬 plans in the group chat
📍 places saved in Google Maps
📸 screenshots everywhere
💸 expenses tracked somewhere else

But the part that bothered me most wasn’t actually building the itinerary.

It was asking everyone else to install another app and create another account just to join the trip.

So I built TabinoTe ✈️

The main idea is simple:

People joining the trip shouldn’t need to sign up.

You can create a trip, share it with your friends, and they can participate without creating an account.

I also added:

  • AI import for existing itineraries

  • shared trip plans in one place

  • expense splitting

I’m still very early, and one thing I’m trying to figure out is whether “no signup for participants” is actually a strong enough reason for people to switch from the usual mix of chat + Maps + spreadsheets.

So I’d love some honest feedback 👀

When you plan a group trip, what’s the biggest headache for you?

  1. Building the itinerary

  2. Getting everyone to participate

  3. Keeping everyone updated

  4. Splitting expenses

  5. Something else?

Would love to hear how you currently handle it.
