I built a hosting comparison site that doesn't push you toward specific providers

Hey everyone! I'm a software engineer from Bulgaria and I've been working on HostingSift for the past few months.

The idea came from my own frustration. Every time I searched for "best web hosting", I'd land on sites that clearly ranked providers based on who pays the highest affiliate commission. The same 3-4 names always on top, regardless of what you actually need.

So I decided to build something different. HostingSift lets you filter and compare 30+ hosting providers based on actual pricing, features and specs. The goal was to keep it clean and simple, without unnecessary clutter, so you can quickly find what fits your needs. No ads, no registration required, no "sponsored picks" at the top.

The site is not monetized yet. The long-term plan is affiliate links, but even then the goal stays the same: show honest data and let people decide for themselves. I'd rather make less money and keep the trust than push people toward providers just because they pay more.

A few highlights:

- Pricing stays up to date automatically (daily)

- You can filter by technology, price range, hosting type

- Side-by-side comparison of any providers you want

- A true cost calculator that shows what you'll actually pay over time

I'm still early and would love to hear your feedback. What would you want to see in a hosting comparison tool? What annoys you about the existing ones?
