A while ago, I was scrolling through "entry-level" job postings and felt that familiar sting of frustration. Everything claimed to be for beginners, yet every description demanded 1+ years of experience. I thought to myself, "I wish there was a job board for roles that actually required zero experience." At the time, it was just a passing thought.
Fast forward to a month ago: I made the tough decision to shut down my AI note-taking SaaS. It wasn't gaining the traction I hoped for, updates were challenging and the pivot was painful. As I jumped back into the job search as a self-taught Cybersecurity professional, I hit the exact same wall again. The "experience inflation" hadn't changed at all.
That’s when it clicked. I didn't just need a job board; the community needed a new standard. I started building Beginnly with one goal: To bridge the gap between education and career by making the degree the lead credential. I know how soul-crushing the modern job search is.
I know what it feels like to spend hours on applications only to get those automated "we were impressed, but no" emails because of a lack of professional years. It messes with your confidence and makes you feel like your hard-earned education doesn't matter.
Beginnly is my answer to that. Every single job here is manually audited by us to ensure "entry-level" actually means entry-level. No experience inflation, no "1-5 years required" traps, just real opportunities for true beginners.
I’m so excited to share this with you all and help the next generation of talent get their foot in the door. Posting is free until Feb 9 if any employers would like to take advantage of this opportunity. I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback!
Feels like this is a real challenge for new grads. Not sure where you are going to find the jobs from though?
