I Built a Job Search AI That's Actually Landing People Interviews (+ How We Got 2M+ TikTok Views With $0)

So I've been putting this post off for weeks cuz, honestly, I wasn't sure if what we built would actually work. But after seeing real people land ACTUAL interviews using our tool (and our weird marketing strategy working), I just had to share this.
The Problem I Couldn't Ignore
6 months ago, I watched my roommate spend literally 8+ hours EVERY DAY applying for jobs. Resume tweaking. Cover letters. Application forms. Interview prep. Tracking spreadsheets. The whole exhausting cycle.
Despite all that effort, she was getting ghosted by like 95% of companies.
Thats when it hit me: the modern job search is fundamentally broken. It's not just hard, it's unnecessarily complicated, time-consuming, and soul-crushing.
What We Built to Fix It
Woberry started as a simple idea: what if we could use AI to handle the repetitive parts of job searching?
Not the generic "AI resume builder" tools that already exist, but something that actually understands how hiring systems work and optimizes for them.
We built a system that:
Analyzes job posts against your resume (identifying the exact 70% of keywords your missing)
Auto-tailors applications to each job (we've achieved an 85% match rate with ATS systems)
Prepares you for specific company interviews (we've collected 2,500+ real interview questions from actual companies)
Our $0 Marketing Strategy That Actually Worked??
Here's the thing about being a broke founder, we had literally $0 for marketing. Plus, none of us wanted to do the whole "founder face" thing on camera (we're all awkward introverts).
So we tried something different: faceless TikTok content.
Our strategy was embarassingly simple:
Post 2 videos EVERY day showing Woberry in action (just screen recordings)
Show the contrast between traditional job hunting vs using Woberry
Never ever show our faces
The first month was brutal - like 50 views per video brutal. But we kept going. By month 3, something clicked.
Now we're at:
2.2M total views (!!!)
95K followers
1,100+ free trial signups directly from TikTok
And 87 paying customers!
The craziest part? Our most viral video (500k views) took me exactly 4 minutes to make. I literally recorded my screen showing how our AI wrote a resume.
What Didn't Work (The Honest Part)
Not everything was a win:
Early users hated our first UI so much that one literally sent us a sketch of how it should work
When we got lazy and missed a few days posting, our growth tanked immediately
The lesson? Consistency > perfection.
What's Next for Woberry
Were doubling down on what's working:
Expanding our company database to better customize applications
Building direct integrations with job boards for one-click applications
Creating a community where job seekers can share insights
Pushing harder on TikTok/YouTube Shorts

There is a real need of fixing the job hunting process. I think it is choke-full of supposedly useful, but actually just obstructive, elements to the point where it feels dysfunctional.

I love the tik-tok organic marketing strategy haha. Quick question. Did you validate your idea before building, or did you just build the MVP and did a Hail - Mary with Tik-Tok posts?
It was more of a Hail Mary, but at the same time, it wasn't, as there are many proven companies already out there that do similar business. This is why I myself believe that every project does not need to be a "revolutionary" idea or a new idea, you can really just copy current businesses that are out there, as they've already done the validation for you.
I love this. And yes, the system is (was) broken. Thank you for taking initiative and taking action. I know too many people who feel lost on the whole job search process. You give us all a breath of fresh air to breathe life back into hope for a smoother and more reliable job acquisition.

Wanted to create a resume but saw that I have to do everything manually. It would be nice if you could pull data from my LinkedIn profile and populate the resume so that I only have to edit it.
In my previous startup, we did something similar but the scraper we were using basically 100x their prices.
