Hey IH 👋
I'm working on a new product called SaaS Status — a simple status page and monitoring tool for solo devs and indie SaaS founders.
💡 Why I built it
I already run several SaaS products and always ran into the same issue:
• Building custom uptime monitoring
• Manually updating users when things go down
• Drowning in support tickets when I should be fixing the issue
So I decided to scratch my own itch and build a simple tool that just works out of the box:
→ alerts me on downtime
→ shows users a public status page
→ reduces support noise
🔧 How I built the landing page in 1 day
Did some market research
Asked ChatGPT to help generate landing page copy and structure
Found a free Framer template and adapted it in ~5 hours
Generated visuals with GPT, made a simple logo in Figma
Bought a domain ($12), upgraded Framer ($20), and published the site

🧪 What’s next
Right now, I’m just testing the waters to see if others care about this too.
If enough people are interested — I’ll build it.
📣 If this sounds useful to you, please:

→ Drop your email on the site
→ Or let me know what you’d want from a tool like this
Happy to answer any questions!
This is an absolutely brilliant idea mate well done.
Thanks a lot! Appreciate it
Hey, this is a great idea! I can totally relate as a fellow indie SaaS founder. The manual effort of managing downtime and communicating with users can be a real pain. Love how quickly you put this together—seriously impressive.
I like how you’ve kept things simple; often, that’s all we need as solo devs. It would be awesome to see how SaaS Status compares to the other tools out there, especially when it comes to pricing and ease of integration.
Looking forward to seeing where this goes! If you end up building it out, I’d be interested in trying it.
Good luck with the launch!
Hey, thanks so much — really appreciate the kind words!
Totally agree — for indie founders, simple and fast wins. That’s exactly the pain I’m solving: avoid scrambling during downtime and cut support tickets with a tool that’s dead simple to set up.
I’ll definitely share a post soon comparing SaaS Status to other tools (like Statuspage, Better Uptime, etc). My focus is on:
– fast setup without docs
– sane pricing (especially for solo founders and small teams)
– no-bloat features you’ll actually use
Glad to hear you'd be interested in trying it — once it's ready, I’d love to send you early access :)
This looks awesome — I’ve run into the exact same issues with my own SaaS projects (especially the support overload when something goes down). Love how you tackled it quickly with a clean landing page and just got it out there.
Just dropped my email on the site — I’d definitely be interested in something like this. One thing I’d personally find useful is support for custom domains and maybe a simple API/webhook to trigger status updates from my backend.
Good luck with it, hope you get enough interest to push it forward!
Thanks so much — really appreciate you sharing that! Yeah, exactly the same pain here: one small hiccup and suddenly it's a flood of support messages. That’s what I’m hoping to reduce with a super simple tool that just works.
Great to hear you dropped your email — weirdly, I didn’t see a new lead come through 🤔 Maybe there was a glitch on my side? Mind trying again or DM’ing it to me here?
And yes — custom domains + webhook/API support are definitely on the roadmap. I’m still validating what features are most important early on, and you nailed two that keep popping up. Will keep you posted as it takes shape!
that was helpful brother
Appreciate it, brother! Glad it helped — let me know if you’re working on something too, happy to exchange ideas 👊
