I built a map that shows live events from multiple ticket sites at once
I kept running into the same problem. Already out, night's still young, no idea what's on nearby. Or traveling somewhere new and wondering what's happening when I get there. Every time I'd end up bouncing between different ticket sites hoping I wasn't missing something.
So I built TicketMappr.
It pulls events from multiple providers and plots them all on a single live map. Pins are grouped by venue, duplicates from different sellers are merged, and prices are sorted cheapest-first. No login, no app, just open it and see what's on near you.
The core use case is last-minute and spontaneous discovery. You're already out. You're in a new city. You want to keep the night going. That's who I built it for.
I'm a solo dev and this is still early. I'd love feedback, especially from anyone who travels a lot or lives in a city and makes plans on the fly.

What's your go-to for finding local events when you're somewhere new?
The strongest part here is the “already out, night’s still young” moment.
I’d be careful not to frame TicketMappr too much as a better event search/map. That sounds useful, but still a little passive.
The sharper promise is probably closer to saving the night when plans are still flexible and nobody wants to spend 20 minutes checking five ticket sites.
That changes the homepage, examples, and first city/user segment quite a bit.
Happy to put the tighter positioning angle in writing if useful. There’s a real difference between “find events nearby” and “keep the night going right now.”
