I built a micro-SaaS that converts Canadian bank statement PDFs to CSV/Excel

Canadian bookkeepers and accountants deal with a frustrating problem: banks give you PDFs, but accounting software wants CSVs.

The workarounds are painful. Manual entry, generic PDF tools that don't understand Canadian statement formats, or uploading your bank credentials to third-party apps.

I built StatementCSV (statementcsv.ca) to fix this. You upload a PDF, it parses the transactions, runs a balance check to catch any errors, and exports a clean CSV or Excel file. No bank login required.

It works with RBC, TD, BMO, CIBC, Scotiabank, and more. Built with Next.js, deployed on Vercel.
