The pay-to-rank model is interesting because the thing extension makers may actually want isn’t a higher rank, but better-quality discovery.
Curious whether early users are treating the ranking itself as the value, or the traffic it creates.
Fair point! At $2, it's cheap enough for developers to test both hypotheses. Right now, it gives early makers two things CWS denies them: immediate visibility instead of page 10 obscurity, and high-intent backlinks from an active dev hub. Traffic follows eyes.
