I built a personal video cloud because I was tired of Google Photos — looking for feedback

Hey IH! I spent a few months building Strimoza — a personal video cloud for people who want to own their video library without relying on YouTube or Google Photos.

Key features:

  • Local network streaming (works without internet)
  • Cloud streaming via Bunny CDN (4K)
  • Guest sharing with PIN codes
  • Video transcoding for all browsers
  • 7 languages

Free to try: strimoza.com

Would love honest feedback from this community!

One thing I'd be careful with:

The interesting question may not be whether people want an alternative to Google Photos.

It may be which specific frustration is strong enough to make them change where their videos live.

Those sound similar, but they can lead to very different product decisions.
