Hey IH π
Today I'm launching Pokor - a real-time planning poker tool for distributed engineering teams. Site: https://pokor.dev
Why I built it
Every planning poker tool my team tried came with a catch. The free ones capped participants, stories, or sessions right when sprint planning got busiest. The ones that didn't gave no clear answer about where your data lived or how it might be used later.
So I built one for us. We ran our own estimations on it for months, kept fixing the small things that got in the way, and at some point it stopped feeling like just an internal tool.
What's in it
The core is genuinely unlimited and free - sessions, participants, stories, no auto-deletion after N days. On top of that:
Async sessions - vote on your own time, not just live
Story import from GitHub Issues, Jira, Notion, and CSV
Slack and Discord bots with a /pokor command to start a session from chat
Real-time voting with reveal, re-vote, and confidence indicators
Pricing
Free covers the core experience for any team size. The paid Organizer plan unlocks the deeper integration workflow - two-way sync with GitHub/Jira/Notion, etc. The bet is simple: most teams should never need to pay, and the ones who do are the ones getting real value out of the integrations.
What I'd love from you
First-user feedback, honestly. Try it with your team or solo, and tell me:
What broke or felt off
What's missing that would make you switch from your current tool
What's confusing in the first 30 seconds
Brutal is welcome - this is the stage where it actually helps. Thanks for reading π
