I’ve been building PlaythroughPilot — a Pokémon companion site focused on actually helping while you play, instead of just being another giant wiki.
Right now it includes things like:
-Team Builder
-Damage Calculator
-Type Chart
-Nuzlocke Tracker
-Route-by-route best team guides
-Monster Dex with stats, learnsets, evolutions, locations, and game data
-Ability & Move Dex's, etc.
The big idea is: a playthrough companion, not just a database or info site.
A lot of work lately has gone into polishing the UX, improving mobile performance, tightening security, and fixing edge cases. I’m at the point where I’d really love outside eyes on it.
If you’re into Pokémon at all, I’d appreciate it if you checked it out, tried to break it, and told me what feels confusing, weak, buggy, slow, or unfinished. I’m especially interested in feedback on:
what feature is most compelling
what feels unnecessary
what still needs work before I push harder on growth
This is actually pretty cool — especially the idea of a playthrough companion instead of just another wiki.
Curious — are you thinking of keeping this as a niche side project, or turning it into something bigger over time?
