Hey everyone,
I recently launched WeeklyWrap, a private social app designed around a simple idea:
Most social networks reward constant posting, scrolling, and engagement.
WeeklyWrap does the opposite.
Users create private groups with friends or family and share just one video or audio update per week. The goal is to help people stay connected without the noise, pressure, and distraction of traditional social media.
Key features:
Private groups
Weekly video or audio updates
No public followers
No endless feed
Privacy-focused experience
Designed for meaningful relationships
The biggest challenge so far isn't building the product—it's convincing people that "less social media" can actually be more valuable than "more social media."
I'd love feedback from the Indie Hackers community:
Would you use something like this?
Who do you think is the ideal customer?
What's the hardest part of growing a social product today?
