I built a quick sideproject where you can sell your pre-revenue or dead side-projects in 30 days 🚀

I built this on weekend as a fun side-project for Soft Acquire

Launched it yesterday on Hacker News. It's still trending at No. 2 on Show HN.

funny that nano acquire is listed as a product under deadacquire

that guy just made it for selling 😂

Interesting idea. Product Hunt must be full of projects that didn’t make it but have some value with the right focus.

      Will launch there soon.

Wished something like this was made earlier 😅

I started working on it after @yaroslawbagriy's tweeted this idea

Thanks! I love the idea and there is a need.

Cool idea. Might be a good starting point when looking for a new project.
    What is your business model?

  5. 1

Great Idea, the website looks very nice.

Cool side-project! What's your revenue model? Are you processing payments and taking fees off the sale price?

  7. 1

Interesting! I always wonder if there is any marketplace for dead and discontinued projects and ideas.

Now it has a place on the internet!

Really cool idea—if only for giving closure on dormant projects so you can let go and move on with your life 😅

      Exactly.

Sometimes your dust is someone's gold.

On the one hand, I could find something neat and realize I have the right skill set to make it a success, and on the other hand, I could find something I wanted to make and realize it won't work. Very insightful website. Well done.

I will try to fulfil both user types by using category tags

Quite cool! Would you mind discussing your project screening process briefly? My concern is that many people may submit worthless material since they "have nothing to lose<a href="https://mybankinginformation.com/does-speedway-accept-ebt-payments/">.</a>" An unproductive side project might be valuable to someone else, or it might simply be inadequate. Thanks!

      I moderate it.

Some guys just added their agency site with 0 customers and 0 revenue. I declined listing it

      Thanks Jonass.

      Duuce is a huge inspiration

Very cool! Do you mind sharing a few thoughts on how you are screening projects? My fear would be a lot of people submit junk because they have "nothing to lose". A side project that isn't going anywhere might be useful to someone else... or it might just not be that great. Thanks!

Some guys just added their agency site with 0 customers and 0 revenue. I declined to list it.

Another guy added dead website - simple job board with little functionality. I declined it as well

This is a great idea! I may need to do this in the future.

Just submit whenever a sideproject is dead or you lost momentum
