I built a random chat platform after Omegle shut down

When Omegle shut down I realized how many people actually enjoyed random conversations with strangers online.

Most alternatives I tried either required signups, had too many ads, or were filled with bots.

So I built a simple project called Strango where you can talk to strangers instantly without creating an account.

The goal was to keep it minimal:
• open the site
• get matched instantly
• start chatting

It's still an early project and I'm improving it.

I'd love to hear feedback from other builders here.

Here is the project:

    Quick update:

I'm currently improving the matching system and mobile UI.

If anyone here has built chat or realtime apps before, I’d love to hear your advice.

    Also curious:
What feature would make you actually use a random chat platform today?
