Hey IH π
I've been building whaletrack.app β tracks big money bets ($15K+) on Polymarket in real time.
The idea: whales move $50Kβ$100K before the news breaks. If you see what they're betting early, you have an edge.
What it does:
Tracks whale bets across crypto, sports, politics markets
Real-time alerts via Twitter bot and Telegram
Shows win/loss record of each whale
Numbers so far:
947+ whale alerts sent
447 affiliate clicks
6 paying subscribers
What's working: Twitter bot drives most traffic β automated alerts get organic retweets
What's hard: Keeping users coming back and converting free β paid
Still early but learning fast. Happy to answer questions π
π whaletrack.app
947 alerts and 447 clicks is enough to show the information itself gets attention.
The harder question seems to be what someone is paying to keep getting after the alert brought them in. If the free alert already delivers the exciting moment, the paid product has to become valuable for something that happens after that moment.
That's exactly the right question β and honestly it pushed me
to build what I just shipped today.
The answer: in-app Copy Bet trading.
The alert gets you there. But now instead of just seeing the
whale bet and going to Polymarket yourself, you copy it directly
on WhaleTrack in one click β MetaMask signs, order hits
Polymarket in seconds.
The free alert is the hook. The copy trading is the reason to
stay. That's the retention loop I was missing.
Still figuring out where monetization fits β but the engagement
signal is there. Appreciate the push in the right direction π
