Hey Indie Hackers 👋
I’m Sisir — a pastor, worship leader, and solo indie maker.
For the past few months, I’ve been quietly building something that came out of real pain I’ve seen in ministry:
Shepherdly — a simple church management platform for small churches.
Most small churches run everything on:
Excel sheets
Paper notebooks
A pastor’s memory
And pastors (like me) end up drowning in admin work:
Who came last Sunday?
Who missed 3 weeks in a row?
Who needs follow-up?
How much giving came in?
How many new members this month?
I’ve seen pastors burn out not from ministry, but from organization.
Most church software is built for huge, complex churches—not the small ministries that actually need the most help.
So I decided to build a simple, lightweight alternative.
Track members
Take attendance
Manage giving
Organize events
Send messages & follow-ups
Automate simple workflows
Multi-admin support
Free + Basic + Pro plans
It’s intentionally simple—no bloat, no complexity.
Does the idea make sense?
Is the niche too small, or is it actually perfect?
Any suggestions for reaching early users?
Would you improve anything on the landing page?
Here’s the link if you want to check it out:

Thanks, IH!
Building this has already blessed my life, and I vxhope it helps others too.
Happy to answer any questions!
