Sometimes back I tried building a daily journaling habit.
I downloaded a few diary apps expecting something simple — just open the app and write.
But most of them felt either too complicated or too distracting.
Some had too many productivity features.
Some had messy writing screens.
Some locked basic features behind expensive subscriptions.
What I really wanted was something that felt like opening a calm personal notebook.
So I decided to build a small iOS diary app myself.
The goal was simple: make writing feel natural and enjoyable again.
Here are a few things I recently added:
• Beautiful themes so the writing screen feels calm and personal
• Audio diary recording for days when speaking is easier than typing
• Improved diary writing experience with a clean distraction-free editor
• Organized diary record list to easily revisit past entries
• Private by design — your diary stays on your device
Along with journaling, the app also includes a few optional tools that some people like to keep alongside their diary:
• Goal setting for personal ambitions and long-term plans
• To-do tracking for daily tasks
• Event management to record important moments
Everything is designed so that the diary remains the center, while these tools simply help organize life around it.
Privacy was also very important while building this — your diary stays on your device and remains completely personal.
I'm currently improving the writing experience even more and would genuinely love feedback from people who journal.
If anyone wants to try it and share suggestions, here’s the app:

I’m especially curious:
• What makes you stick to a journaling habit?
• What do you wish diary apps did better?
Any feedback would really help improve the app.
