I built a Simple Task Manager for Students (and people who hate clutter) – Feedback welcome!

Hey Indie Hackers!

I’m a student who was constantly overwhelmed by messy to-do lists, sticky notes, and apps that promised “productivity” but only distracted me more.

I realized what I needed wasn’t more features — it was less.

So I built something for myself: a simple task manager that focuses on just the basics.

✅ Clean interface
✅ Easy add/delete task
✅ No logins, no popups, no distractions

It started as a personal productivity tool for schoolwork and project tracking, but I figured other students (or creators) might find it useful too. So I launched it on Gumroad as a small product:

I’m still new to indie hacking and Gumroad, so I’d love:

  • Feedback on the product (UI/UX, features, etc.)

  • Tips for improving visibility or getting my first few users

  • Ideas for what kind of people this could help the most

Thanks for reading, and good luck with your own projects!

Hey Spagcutie! I really liked the idea — super helpful for students 👏

I’m into email copywriting and have helped small digital products like yours build trust and improve user engagement.

Got a few suggestions on how you can optimize your Gumroad funnel and even drive some user growth using smart emails and small tweaks.

Would love to share them if you're open 😊
