A few months ago, I kept seeing the same thing in Facebook groups for holiday rentals:
Hosts posting their apartments or mobile homes, and then answering the same questions over and over:
• “Is it free next weekend?”
• “How much does it cost?”
• “Can we bring a dog?”
Everything happens in Messenger. Manually.
So I thought:
What if they could just share one simple link instead?
That’s how OpenSty started.
OpenSty lets property owners create a clean booking page with:
• Photos
• Description
• Availability calendar
• Prices
• Booking request form
Instead of sending 20 messages, they can send one link.
No marketplace.
No commissions.
Just a simple page they control.
What I’ve done so far
The product is fully working.
Hosts can:
• Create their own page
• Share it
• Receive booking requests directly
Right now I’m:
• Messaging property owners manually
• Offering free access to early users
• Collecting feedback
• Improving based on real usage
This is a side project, so my goal isn’t hypergrowth.
If I can turn this into a steady €1–3k/month micro-SaaS, I’ll consider it a success.
What I’m learning
1. Building the product was easier than finding users.
2. Most small hosts don’t need complex tools — they need clarity.
3. Direct outreach works, but it’s uncomfortable.
4. Real conversations are more valuable than feature ideas.
Where I need advice
• Should I focus on one small market first?
• Is Facebook outreach scalable, or just good for validation?
• Would you keep this subscription-only or add a free plan?
Would love feedback from others building small, niche SaaS products.

Love this — super clear problem and simple solution, which is exactly what this market needs.
Curious how you’re validating if hosts actually convert from sharing links vs continuing on Messenger?
Also, if you want to test real willingness early, there’s an interesting setup where you can put your idea into a live competition ($19 entry, winner gets a Tokyo trip, prize pool grows with entries). Could be a quick way to gauge actual commitment.
