I built a site to answer one question: how should I handle billing?

You don’t think about billing when you start a project.

You build the product.
Then at some point, you need to charge money.

So you add payments and keep going.

Later, things start popping up:

• someone wants an invoice

• a customer changes their plan

• you sell to another country and taxes suddenly matter

Nothing dramatic — just small things that don’t quite fit the “simple setup” anymore.

At that point, you realize you made a bunch of decisions without really thinking about them.

And changing them later is awkward.

I tried to find a clear way to approach this upfront, but most of what’s out there didn’t help much — it’s either too shallow or assumes you already understand the space.

It’s just a way to think through billing decisions early, so you don’t have to untangle them later.
