Most “creator tools” today are basically:
$20–$99/mo just to schedule posts
paywalled analytics
extra fees for basic automation
and then upsells on top of that
It started feeling less like “helping creators grow” and more like a monthly tax on trying to build something online.
So I started building SocialMate — a Creator OS.
Not trying to replace everything at once, but the core idea is simple:
scheduling across platforms
AI writing assistance
affiliate tracking with recurring payouts
white-label options for agencies
a free tier that actually works (not a demo)
What I’m trying to figure out now is:
What actually matters in a tool like this?
Right now I’m seeing:
creators want speed + simplicity
freelancers want client workflows
agencies want white-label + reporting
affiliates want transparency + tracking
But I’m curious what I’m missing.
If you were building a “creator OS” today, what would be non-negotiable for you?
