The idea that we should spend time improving the things we're not good at is counterintuitive, especially and specifically when it comes to business.
Instead, your time is best spent on the things you are good at and making yourself great at those things you already have a natural propensity towards.
When I realized this a few years ago, I finally succeeded in business because I stopped struggling to get better at marketing or coding; just two of the things I have no talent for. And once I hired people that were naturally good at these things and focused on what I’m good at which is ideation, strategy planning, photography, video editing, and leading a team, amongst other things, I saw my business grow.
So, my advice to you if you're just starting out in the business world. Decide to be bad at some things. As the famous quote goes - "No (wo)man is an island," after all.

Yes, but I also believe you should understand how code work and how marketing work, at the end of the day code and marketing, are the core of your business it's where your app lives and from where your customers are coming, knowing how it works will help you to hire the right people for it.
Agreed sometimes it's better to choose a path of mastery in a topic than trying to sharpen the dull side of the knife.
This is correct and one of my personal success principles. Keep people focused on what they are best at particularly if they are income producing. It doesn't just apply to yourself.. your entire employees also, maybe even more important for them.
Found this out myself when I tried to build a business and tried doing everything myself. It was only because I ended up with severe burnout that I looked into getting help from others. It was the best thing I did. I realised someone who is good at something can do that thing in half the time as someone who is bad at it. Accept you're not good at stuff, it hurts the ego at first but it's the smartest thing you can do.
Completely agree with this. I heard the same at school. I was terrible at science, and I was pushed by my teachers and parents to be better at it. I was brilliant, if I do say so myself, at art. They should have encouraged me to spend more time on that. It took me until my late twenties to realise we have to pursue what we're good at, and inevitably, what we're good at is also probably what we enjoy most too.
