I built a task app for my girlfriend's ADHD brain. Here's what I learned.

She kept telling me her brain feels completely different every week. Some weeks she could take on anything. Others she could barely function.

I watched her open Todoist, see 20 tasks, and just close her phone.

The problem wasn't the tasks. It was that no app knew it was luteal week.

So I built Lunar. It asks two questions every day: what's your energy level, and where are you in your cycle. Then it shows you exactly 3 tasks you can actually do right now.

Follicular week? Ambitious projects. Luteal week? Two gentle ones.

I added body-doubling sessions for accountability, a one-task focus mode, and AI breakdown for big tasks (Pro).

It's free on iOS. No account needed, open and go.

Would love feedback from anyone who's built for neurodiverse audiences.
What did you get wrong the first time?
