I built a Telegram bot that turns screenshots into viral social media posts — 17 platforms, zero API costs

Hey IH,

I'm Hakim, I've been building https://screencrafter.io for the past few weeks and it's finally at a point where I want to show it off.

The problem:
You screenshot something great — a tweet, a product page, a dashboard metric, an article — and you want to post it across social media. But every platform wants different dimensions, different vibes, different caption styles. So you open Canva, resize 5 times, write 5 different captions, and 40 minutes later you've posted one thing.

What ScreenCrafter does:
Send a screenshot (or just type a description) to a Telegram bot. It runs local AI vision analysis to understand what's in the image, picks from 200+ templates with color-matched design, renders platform-optimized versions for Twitter/X, LinkedIn,Instagram, TikTok, etc., and generates viral captions tailored to each platform's voice. One input, every platform covered.

What makes it different:

  • Runs entirely on local AI Vision — No data leaving the server
  • 200+ defined templates, scored by color matching against your content
  • AI background removal, device frame mockups, image filters, carousel generation, PDF export, video processing — all in one tool
  • Caption generation that actually understands platform conventions (LinkedIn thought-leader vs TikTok "POV:" vs Twitter's 280-char
    constraint)

Revenue model: Freemium.

Would love feedback on:

  1. Does the pricing feel right for this kind of tool?
  2. Would a Chrome extension (right-click → generate social posts) be more compelling than Telegram?
  3. Any features that would make you switch from your current workflow?
