I built a tool for those secretly dreaming of working somewhere else

Have you ever dreamed of working somewhere else? Whether it's in another state or another country?

Well, I'm just like you. There's a place, and if I could land a good opportunity there, I know I'd pack my stuff in a heartbeat and hit the road.

But there's a big hurdle to clear. I'd need to apply for jobs without being physically there, try to secure a visa, or find a company that's willing to sponsor me. Enough to make my procrastinating self ditch the idea.

It's a real shame because I'm incredibly passionate about my field, to the point where I've honed some seriously competitive skills. I know I could bring a lot of value to the table.

That's partly why I created candix.com. It's a reverse job board where recruiters come to you with opportunities that match your preferences.

It puts the focus on skills and experience rather than geographical proximity.

The cool part? Among other things, you can choose the locations you're interested in. This makes your profile visible to recruiters in that area.

It's like setting your job hunt on autopilot.

Setting up your profile takes just 5 minutes, and it's totally free.

I'm building it out in the open and launching this week.

Would really appreciate your feedback ✨
