I built a tool that opens ANY file instantly — no software needed

Hey everyone 👋

I kept running into the same frustrating problem:

You download a file… and it just won’t open.

Wrong format. Missing software. Compatibility issues.

Instead of installing random apps or converting files manually, I wanted something instant.

So I built OpenAnyFile.app.

👉 It lets you:

• Open unknown file types instantly

• Convert between formats

• Identify files you don’t recognize

• Do everything directly in your browser (no installs)

The goal is simple:
Remove all friction between you and your files.

Why I built it:

I realized this is a universal problem:

• Designers get weird formats

• Developers get unfamiliar extensions

• Normal users just get stuck

And the current solutions are:

So I focused on:
