Hey everyone,
I’m launching a small project today on Product Hunt and wanted to share it here because this community tends to give the most honest feedback.
The product is called SiteToSend.
The idea came from something that kept annoying me whenever I worked on a new project. If I wanted to send a decent looking email announcement, I would end up rebuilding the brand from scratch inside an email editor.
I would open the website, grab colors, try to match fonts, copy sections, rebuild layouts, and hope the email still looked okay in different clients. It always felt like too much work for something that should be simple.
So I built a tool that does it automatically.
You paste a website URL and the tool analyzes the page and generates a branded HTML email template based on it. The colors, layout structure, and basic content blocks are pulled from the site so the email feels like it actually belongs to the brand.
The goal is simple.
Website in. Email out.
You can check it out here if you're curious:

I’m launching it on Product Hunt today mostly to see how people react to it and to learn what I should improve next.
Right now it’s pretty focused, but I have a lot of ideas for where it could go:
• generating multiple email variations from one site
• better layout detection
• stronger brand voice extraction
• direct export into email tools
At this stage the most useful thing for me would be feedback from other builders and marketers.
Does the idea make sense?
Would this actually save you time?
What would make it genuinely useful in your workflow?
I’m planning to keep improving it and hopefully turn it into something that saves people a lot of repetitive work.
Would love to hear what you think.
When I first opened your website I thought: "Cool product!", I immediately understood the problem that it solves. Few thoughts:
Analysis is pretty slow, while understandable, but maybe give more feedback to the user by showing it's thinking. I almost clicked away because it seemed stuck on the first topic.
You mention $20 as pricing for an email and on checkout its $99/mo, might wanna review the copy and guide the user more in what they can expect.
it's $20 for the template or if you're going to do multiple templates you can subscribe for $99 a month and get 10 templates a month (saving 50%) it's an option not the actual price. I can look at maybe editing some hierarchies on the page so that's more clear. Appreciate the feedback. I'll do more to show more movement on the processing part.
This seems great ! Best of luck with this.
thanks!
Love seeing builders launch things here. Respect for putting it out in the world.
One pattern I keep noticing with successful launches is that the products that get traction usually make it very easy to grasp the value immediately — sometimes a quick visual explanation or walkthrough makes that click instantly for users.
How are you currently showing people the “aha moment” of your product?
Yeah i think that's a great question. I tried having the input field to just try it immediately up top (and good for re-use) and then followed it immediately with a visual of the process but maybe it needs more? What did you 'get' when you checked it out?
I like the idea of putting the input field first — that’s good for lowering friction. When I looked at it, I understood the flow, but the “aha moment” could hit faster for someone seeing it the first time.
Right now a visitor has to think a bit to connect the dots. When the value is shown visually in a very quick, clear way, people usually understand the product in seconds instead of exploring to figure it out.
That small shift can make a big difference for conversions on new products.
Out of curiosity have you tested how long it takes a new visitor to fully understand what your tool does?
sorry i missed this reply (I'm newer to this UI. it's on me) I think you're really dead on. When demoing it in person to a few folks they said they got it right away. I do think that the sample size was small. For sure something I've been A/B testing to get a better conversion rate.
Makes sense live demos usually remove friction fast because people see the value instead of trying to imagine it.
One thing I’ve noticed working with product founders is that short visual walkthroughs often convert better than explanations alone, especially for first-time visitors.
Curious what changes have improved conversion the most so far during your A/B tests?
The problem you're solving is real and I've felt it every time I launch a side project. I've built 6 AI apps solo, and for each one I spent more time on the launch email than I'm willing to admit. The irony is that the email should be easy — the brand already exists on the website — but translating that into an email editor is surprisingly tedious.
One gap I've noticed with this type of tool: brand extraction works great for visual consistency, but email copy often needs a different tone than website copy. A landing page might say 'Revolutionary AI-powered platform,' but an email to early users should probably say 'Hey, I built something I think you'll find useful.'
Have you thought about offering a 'voice adapter' that suggests how to reframe website hero copy for different email contexts (launch announcement vs feature update vs re-engagement)? That would move this from a time-saver to a strategic tool.
Also curious about your roadmap for handling websites with weak brand systems. How does SiteToSend handle inconsistency or minimalism?
From my content repurposing experience, I've learned that tools like this shine when they're slightly opinionated. If you try to preserve everything 1:1, you end up with an email that looks like a webpage screenshot. The sweet spot is extracting brand DNA and reinterpreting it for the medium.
that's a great idea. So the Voice guide has scales for how the voice is identified across a number of ranges... letting users adjust and export that could be something interesting. ex: website is more explaining and professional but emails should feel more personal etc.
Great feedback I think I'll add that in asap. Thanks for your thoughtful response
Amazing
Interesting problem to be solved. Never really thought I would need something like this. Ive been sending out basic emails out for my products, I guess makes it immediate value for agencies. All the best upvoted on PH
thanks for the upvote. Yeah I think the faster everything is going this became a heavy bit of friction that fell in the process so I wanted to put some attention on it.
The problem you're solving is real and I've seen it slow down even well-resourced teams. There's this weird gap where a brand can have a tight visual identity on their website and then send emails that look like they were built by a different company entirely, because most email tools treat brand as an afterthought rather than the starting point.
The direction you're going with brand voice extraction is where this gets genuinely interesting. Colors and fonts are the easy part. The harder and more valuable thing is capturing the tone and the way a brand actually talks, because that's what makes an email feel like it came from the same place as the website, not just look like it. That layer would separate this from a design utility into something with a lot more stickiness.
One thing worth testing early: how does it handle brands that have a weak or inconsistent website to begin with? A lot of small businesses and early stage founders have sites that don't have a clear visual system yet, and how your tool responds to that edge case will tell you a lot about where the real ICP sits. Good luck with the PH launch today.
Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I think that maybe that's an alternative route -- convert your site OR give colors/style preferences/etc and let someone get a good looking email template for where their website is lacking. Great questions and I appreciate the well wishes
From someone who's actually struggled with the same thing recently, this is an amazing product! Best of luck for your launch!!
That's a graet idea would love to go through the website and check out the app.
Being a marketer for a startup would love to get this type of products.
Great insight. Thanks for sharing your experience.
This is a really interesting idea. Rebuilding email layouts from scratch every time you launch something is definitely one of those annoying workflows that feels like it should already be automated.
I’m curious how well the layout translation works when moving from a website to an email format, since email clients tend to have a lot more constraints than normal web layouts. Do you find the generated templates usually need much manual adjustment before sending, or are they mostly ready to go?
Also wondering if most users would use this mainly for launch announcements or if you see it expanding into ongoing email campaigns as well.
good questions. The templates that the service build handles all the best practices but also pulling in the sites look/feel/fonts etc. If you use them as a drop-in template for say Constant Contact or Mailchimp, etc it's fully editable so you could customize it for campaigns easily and re-use it. You could also modify it to be used for 'transactional emails' for an app. I do plan to add more to the service to make it even more useful.
Interesting project! I'm currently building a small budget tracking app and it's always inspiring to see other indie projects.
Interesting idea. How are you handling scaling for the AI workflows?
Interesting idea. I can definitely see how this could save time when you need to quickly create a branded email.
At the same time, I wonder if the market might be somewhat limited. In my experience many people don’t care that much about matching their website design perfectly inside emails - they often just use simple templates.
So the convenience is clear, but I’m not sure how big the demand for this level of brand matching is.
Still, I like the idea of removing repetitive work. Curious to see how people react to it on Product Hunt.
I like how simple the core idea is. Turning a website directly into a branded email template removes a lot of repetitive work for marketers and founders. Seeing that transformation happen in a quick demo would probably make the concept land even faster for new users. I work with SaaS founders on launch and demo videos, so if you ever want to showcase SiteToSend that way I’d love to help.
The pain point is immediately relatable - anyone who has manually reconstructed a brand inside an email editor knows exactly how tedious that process is. The fact that you identified a repetitive workflow and automated it end-to-end is solid product thinking.
What strikes me most is the underlying engine you have built - something that can analyze a website, extract brand identity, and translate it into a structured output. That parsing and extraction capability is actually more powerful than just email generation. The same core could power a lot of adjacent workflows where brand consistency across different output formats is the problem.
I am currently building in the hiring and recruitment space - specifically around live interview infrastructure - and I am at the stage where I am looking for a technical co-founder who thinks in terms of workflow automation and smart data extraction. The way you have approached this problem tells me you think about the right things.
Would you be open to a quick conversation? Not to pitch anything - genuinely just to exchange notes on where each of us is headed.
Great, I'm application development if you need something
The pain point is real — I've done exactly that rebuild-from-scratch dance and it's embarrassing how long it takes for something that should be a 2-minute job.
The positioning "website in, email out" is clean and immediately understandable. That's harder to nail than it sounds — most tools in this space over-explain themselves and lose people in the first sentence.
One thing I'm curious about: how does it handle sites that are heavy on custom fonts that don't render well in email clients? That's usually where brand-matching breaks down — the email looks nothing like the site once Outlook gets hold of it.
Congrats on shipping and launching today. The "scratching your own itch" origin stories tend to produce the most focused products. Upvoting on PH.
