Hi everyone! I'm Bianca 👋
I wanted to build a tool for myself to be able to understand the market better before I start building mobile apps for iOS.
I wanted to know what real customers say about existing mobile apps that closely match what I want to build.
That's why I built ValidKit.
I'm planning to use this for my future apps in understanding the target users better.
One thing I've noticed by reading reports across a few niches is how many apps out there are poorly made. Users complaining a lot about data losses, crashes, bugs, and aggressive paywalls.
If you can build something that is reliable and has a fair pricing, you can probably outperform a lot of apps out there.
Thanks for taking the time to read this! If this interests you, you can check it out here: https://validkit.app
Interesting idea. Competitor research is one of those areas where founders know they need to do it, but often lack the time or a structured way to turn scattered data into useful insights.
A tool that helps analyze App Store positioning, reviews, ratings trends, keywords, and competitor changes could be valuable because the real advantage comes from understanding why users choose one product over another — not just collecting numbers.
The next interesting layer could be AI-powered insights: identifying recurring complaints, feature gaps, pricing patterns, and opportunities where new products can differentiate. Turning market signals into clear decisions is where tools like this can create real value.
Great build — excited to see how you expand it!
I wonder if the biggest value isn't competitor analysis at all.
Reading thousands of reviews is really a way of discovering where user expectations keep breaking. If ValidKit consistently helps founders understand those patterns before they build, it's reducing product risk—not just summarizing reviews.
