I Built a Truly Free QR Code Generator After Getting Frustrated With Fake “Free” QR Platforms

I built a QR code generator because I got tired of fake “free” QR tools.

Most QR generators today follow the same pattern:

• you create a QR code for free

• print it somewhere

• then 2 weeks later it suddenly stops working unless you pay

Or they lock basic customization behind subscriptions.

So I built:
FreeQrStudio

The idea was simple:

• unlimited static QR codes

• no forced signup

• customizable design

• logo support

• SVG/PNG export

• dynamic QR support for people who actually need analytics

• clean UI without spammy dark patterns

I also focused a lot on visual quality because most QR generators look like software from 2012.

One thing I learned while building this:
people REALLY hate feeling tricked by “free trial” QR generators.

A lot of users are okay paying for analytics or dynamic redirects.
But they expect static QR codes to work forever.
