I built a web app to play music directly from Google Drive
I’ve had a large MP3 collection sitting in Google Drive for years, but there was never a simple way to listen to it online without downloading files, syncing devices, or dealing with ads and subscriptions.
Most music apps focus on streaming services, not your own library. I just wanted something lightweight that plays my music directly from Drive, in the browser.
So I built Drive Audio Player — a web-based music player that streams audio directly from Google Drive using read-only Google OAuth. Nothing gets uploaded or copied.
It’s still early, but it already supports folders, playlists, artist filtering, and works on desktop and mobile.
