I built a wedding invitation tool because I attended a wedding where the invite was a blurry JPEG on WhatsApp.
I'm not exaggerating.
The card had the couple's names. The date. A temple illustration that looked like it was from a 2012 stock site. Forwarded to a group of 200 people. That was it.
And I remember thinking this is one of the most important days of their life. And the first thing every single guest saw was... that.
Nobody talks about this. Everyone obsesses over the venue, the catering, the photos. But the invitation is the first impression. It's the thing that tells people this day matters. And in India, most couples are either paying a designer ₹5000+ for something decent, or they're sending that blurry JPEG.
There was nothing in between.
So I built Knotly.
