A few months ago, my family member was running a small gift package business entirely through WhatsApp.
Every day looked the same: wake up, open WhatsApp, manually reply to every customer asking "what do you have?", take their order by hand, confirm payment, update them on delivery. All. Day. Long.
She wasn't scaling. She was just surviving.
So I built her a bot.
I called it Jordan. It lives on her WhatsApp business number. When a customer messages, Jordan replies — takes their order in plain English, confirms it, handles follow-up questions, and logs everything. She checks her dashboard once a day instead of being glued to her phone.
It's been running privately for a while now. It works.
But here's what I don't know yet: is this a real problem for other small businesses, or just my family member's problem?
That's why I'm here.
I'm looking for 5–8 small business owners — food, retail, services, anything — who currently take orders or handle customer questions through WhatsApp. I want to set Jordan up for your business, free, for 2 weeks.
What I need from you:
Run it with real customers (or simulate it)
Tell me what breaks, what's confusing, what's missing
Be brutally honest about whether this actually made your life easier
I'm not looking for compliments. I'm trying to find out if this solves a real problem worth solving.
If you're a small business owner on WhatsApp — or you know one — drop a comment or DM me.
This is 100% a real problem. I run a service side-gig and handling customer WhatsApp chats manually was absolute chaos before I separated everything. Ended up grabbing a virtual line on YourBusinessNumber just to isolate work messages and run basic auto-replies, and it saved my sanity. Having a dedicated bot on top of that to handle full orders is huge definitely push this forward, small business owners hate being attached to their phone 24/7.
