Hey Indie Hackers,
I wanted to share what I’ve been working on: IntelliAgent AI.
As someone who works with WordPress, I noticed a recurring problem: small business owners and e-commerce stores are losing sales because they can't be online 24/7 to answer questions, and most AI chatbot tools require a heavy monthly subscription that eats into margins.
I built IntelliAgent to be a "digital employee" that lives inside WordPress. It’s designed to bridge the gap between a basic chatbot and a full-scale support team.
The Tech Stack & Features:
Multi-Model Support: I didn't want to lock users into one provider. It supports OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Grok, so users can control their own API costs and performance.
Smart Content Sync: Instead of manual data entry, it uses WP-Cron to automatically scan pages, files, and WooCommerce metadata to build a private knowledge base.
Deep WooCommerce Integration: It’s not just for FAQs. It can recommend products, assist with purchases, enable add-to-cart actions, and track orders directly in the chat.
Global Ready: It supports 40+ languages natively without needing extra translation plugins.
The Strategy: A lot of AI tools are moving toward aggressive SaaS pricing. I decided to take a different route for the launch by offering a Lifetime Deal (LTD). This gives early adopters full ownership with a one-time payment, which I’ve found the WP community really appreciates.
Where I’m at now: The plugin is fully launched and WooCommerce verified. I also released a "Lite" version for people to try for free before committing to the full Pro version.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the "multi-model" approach—do you think giving users the choice of AI provider (Gemini vs OpenAI vs Grok) is a major selling point, or is it better to abstract that away?
