I built a WordPress AI plugin that auto-publishes blog posts using your own APIkey — no credits, no limits, set it and forget it

After months of building in silence, I finally launched Rudnexx today:

Here's the problem I was trying to solve:

I kept seeing WordPress users pay $99–$429/month for AI blogging tools...
and they STILL had to sit there manually clicking "Generate" for every post.

That felt completely backwards.

THE CORE INSIGHT

Every competitor in this space does one of two things:

1. They charge you credits per article (you pay forever per post)
2. Or they give you BYOK but make you do everything manually

Nobody was doing both: bring your own key + true automation.

That's the gap Rudnexx fills.

WHAT IT DOES

You install the WordPress plugin, paste your API key (any provider — OpenAI,
Claude, Gemini, Groq, Llama, literally 100+ options), set a schedule, and walk
away.

The plugin auto-generates posts, scores each one 0–100 for SEO, shows those
scores as color-coded badges right inside your WordPress "All Posts" list, and
even finds a relevant YouTube video and embeds it mid-post (before the 2nd
heading — better dwell time than bottom-of-post placement).

All using native WP-Cron. No external servers needed. Works on any host.

I also built a SaaS dashboard at rudnex.in that syncs every event in real-time
— which model was used, what score the post got, everything. Useful if you're
managing content for multiple client sites.

THE BYOK MATH IS BRUTAL FOR COMPETITORS

Gemini Flash 2.0 is free at ~1M tokens/day on Google's free tier.
A 1,500-word blog post uses roughly 2,000 tokens.
That's ~500 free articles per day.

Meanwhile Arvow charges $429/month for their agency plan.
WPAutoBlog caps you at 100 articles/month for $49.

Rudnexx: $49/month, unlimited articles, your free API key.
