I built AgentSkill.club — a GitHub-powered marketplace for AI agent skills

I want to share a product I’ve been working on recently: AgentSkill.club.
💡 The problem I ran into
As AI coding agents (Claude, Codex, Qwen, etc.) get more powerful, I noticed a new pain point:
Agent skills are everywhere on GitHub — but impossible to manage at scale.
What I kept running into:
Skills scattered across thousands of repos
No standard way to browse or compare them
Hard to tell if two skills are actually the same
No visibility into what’s new vs. updated
Lots of copy-paste and rediscovery
GitHub is great for hosting code —
but it’s not designed to be a marketplace for reusable agent skills.
🧠 The idea
I decided to build AgentSkill.club as a layer on top of GitHub.
Instead of asking people to upload skills manually, the platform:
automatically discovers skills from public GitHub repos
parses skill documentation (e.g.
skill.md)deduplicates skills using content fingerprints
tracks updates and versions
adds review and moderation workflows
The goal is simple:
Make AI agent skills easy to discover, evaluate, and reuse.

Current features:
🔄 Automated GitHub sync (configurable topics & schedules)
🧬 Content-based deduplication (even across different repos)
🛂 Review & publish workflow (pending → published → deprecated)
🔍 Searchable, SEO-friendly skill pages
📦 Full skill documentation rendered on the site
🔗 Clear links back to original GitHub repositories
The platform itself is not open-source,
but it focuses on organizing skills that already live on GitHub.

AgentSkill.club is still early, and I’m figuring things out as I go.
I’d really appreciate feedback from people who:
use AI agents daily
build internal tools or workflows
care about reuse instead of one-off prompts
have ideas about where agent ecosystems are going
Questions I’m thinking about:
Should skills be more opinionated or more flexible?
What makes a “high-quality” agent skill?
How should monetization (if any) work in the future?
