Hey Indie Hackers! 👋
Over the past year, I’ve been diving deep into the AI space — trying new tools, reading papers, watching product launches, following all the hype... and honestly, it became too much.
I felt like I had to check a dozen places daily — Reddit, X, newsletters, YouTube, Substacks — just to stay in the loop. Even then, I’d miss big announcements or waste time chasing clickbait.
So I built AI World — a simple site that:
Curates the most relevant AI news from trusted sources
Gives you clean summaries so you can skim fast
Includes a growing directory of AI tools & resources, organized and searchable
My goal is to help people like me — indie hackers, devs, founders, researchers — stay informed without the overwhelm.
Why I'm building this:
Because I needed it.
And from what I’ve heard so far, a lot of others do too. AI is moving faster than ever, and it's easy to fall behind or burn out trying to keep up.
AI World exists to make that easier — more signal, less noise.

Appreciate you sharing this. I’ve felt the exact same way: bouncing between X threads, YouTube demos, random newsletters... and still missing key updates or duplicating tools. It’s exhausting.
I just checked out AI World — love how clean and focused it is. The summaries especially stand out. Feels like something I’d actually open in the morning without getting sucked into a doomscroll spiral.
A couple thoughts:
Would be cool to let users customize what kind of AI updates they care about (research vs products vs tools).
Maybe add a “Coming Soon” or roadmap section so folks know what’s next and can contribute ideas?
Also curious — are you planning to monetize it eventually (subscriptions, sponsors, etc.) or keep it as a public utility?

Once I add more sources, I definitely plan to include an option to customize the types of updates (like research vs tools vs products).
Love the “Coming Soon” idea too—I’ll add a section to show what I’m working on next and include a way for users to submit ideas.
As for monetization, I’m exploring a few options like subscriptions, sponsorships, and referral links for featured tools. But for now, the focus is on keeping it genuinely useful and clutter-free. Thanks again for the great feedback!
