Hi Indie Hackers!
I'm Jean, an AI product manager who recently started building my own products as a solo founder.
After working on AI products for years, I wanted to build something myself and solve a problem I kept seeing in ecommerce marketing.
Ecommerce brands constantly need fresh video creatives for TikTok and Meta ads, but producing and testing new variations is time-consuming and expensive.
So I built Sprokl:
Sprokl helps ecommerce brands turn their existing product assets into multiple TikTok-style ad creatives with AI — including scripts, voiceovers, captions, and variations.
I'm still early and looking for feedback from ecommerce founders, marketers, and anyone running paid ads.
A few questions I'd love your thoughts on:
- How do you currently create video ads for your products?
- How often do you test new creatives?
- Would an AI workflow like this save you time?
Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
Turning assets into TikTok-style ads is a strong use case — especially with demand for short-form content.
The challenge is most tools stop at “generate content,” while users actually care about performance.
Feels like there’s an opportunity to lean into:
→ hooks
→ formats that convert
→ iteration based on performance
Curious — are users just generating, or actually running ads with these?
Happy to help refine this — small positioning shifts here can make a big difference.
Curious what you’ve seen from the ecommerce brands you’ve spoken with so far.
Is the bigger constraint actually producing enough new creatives, or figuring out which new creative angles are worth producing and testing in the first place?
