I built an AI automation agency - live demos on the site

Hey IH!

Just launched AutomateLab. I build custom AI systems for businesses:

- AI chatbots

- Auto content engines

- Full SaaS products

Starting at $299, 3-day delivery.

Live demos on the site - check out the AI content engine and news bot running on autopilot.

Site: automatelab.vercel.app

Would love feedback. What would you automate in your business?

Honest opinion? Your current website looks so AI generic, the colors especially. I swear to god I've seen like 4 products in recent 2 days which looked 95% exactly the same as yours.

If you want to stand out choose something else for your piloting website. Customers should look at yours and think - hell yeah, I want this guy to do mine as well.

I know that your products aren't going to be websites, but the tools which will be embedded in companies' infra, but for them to think - this guy isn't going to build something which could be built with anybody else - you need your brand to look distinctive as well.

Another tip - get a domain. Vercel domain is killing the brand.

Other than that - the idea itself is good, just polish it and it is nice.

That’s a really interesting point. I’ve been noticing the same trend a lot of AI products end up looking quite similar, especially in early stages. Makes me wonder how much design actually impacts trust early on.

It's a rabbit's hole tbh. I ended up spending time "perfecting" my product for like a month already, where I already had my functional mvp in 1st week. New features, claude code limits, bug fixes, visual upgrades, etc. it all took time.

Sometimes, I think it's better to ship product first, if it's solving problems, it gets trafficked anyways. Upgrading visuals and features is a bonus your users get overtime.

the accountability question is what separates AI agencies - when the content engine produces something wrong, who fixes it? building that expectation into scope upfront is probably the hardest $299 conversation to have

nice launch, especially the 3-day delivery — that’s a strong offer

since you’re looking for feedback and traction, you could also try testing this in a structured way to see which use case performs best

prize pool just opened at $0, so your odds are really good right now

the 3 day delivery positioning is bold - that's the kind of claim that either builds massive trust or destroys it depending on how consistently you hit it. if you're actually delivering in 3 days that's your whole marketing story right there.

the content engine demo is the right call - showing it running on autopilot is way more convincing than describing it.

one thing worth thinking about - $299 for a custom AI system feels underpriced to the point where it might actually hurt conversions. buyers at the business level sometimes read low prices as low quality or low commitment. have you tested a higher anchor price?

what's been the most surprising use case a client has brought to you so far - something you didn't expect when you built this?

Most automation agencies focus on workflows, but ignore missed inbound leads. That’s where the real money leaks. Are you handling call-based leads too?

Nice launch - the live demos are a smart move, removes the just trust us friction immediately. One thing we learned building AI systems for enterprise clients: the $299 / 3-day positioning works great for SMBs but you will hit a wall with mid-market buyers fast. Not because of price, but because they need to see governance before plugging anything into real workflows - audit trails, rollback, human sign-off points. Worth adding even one example on the site of what happens when the AI gets it wrong and how you handle it. That story closes more deals than the demo of when it works perfectly. What verticals are you seeing the most pull from so far?

Great piece! The concept is great but one question - can you build a lead generation engine, where it will gather the leads for the specific skills (UX Designer, Web Designer, Sogtware Engineer), auto prepare the copy(Based on my portfolio and skills) and send the proposal with my approval.

I would definitely automate this process, but this should not look AI generated, and it won't actually. The final proposal will be sent by me.

Solid work! excited to see where this goes!

The 3-day delivery claim is the most interesting thing here — custom AI systems in 3 days either means very good templating or very narrow scope. Curious what the typical project looks like at the $299 entry point. What's included vs what gets scoped out?

Hey bro, my honest initial feedback. A real recording, not some regurgitated AI response. Apologies for being blunt but I hope you can use it https://peerpull.com/r/nickmartin/vf17wv

Hey @automatelab, congrats on the launch this looks really sharp!

The live demos are excellent, especially the AutoContent Engine with those real metrics and generated article examples. It instantly makes the “AI that works on autopilot” promise feel tangible and valuable. The clean layout helps the story flow nicely too.

One small observation on automatelab.vercel.app: since the page scrolls quite long, adding a simple sticky nav or anchor links from the hero could make it even easier for visitors to jump to the demos or contact section. Surfacing the $299 starting price more visibly on the site would also help remove a tiny hesitation.

Quick question: what’s been the most surprising thing about how clients actually use the finished automations you deliver?

Solid work! excited to see where this goes!
