I built an AI cover letter generator because I hated writing cover letters

I recently launched Motivé, a small AI-powered app that helps job seekers generate job-specific cover letters in seconds.

The idea came from my own frustration — rewriting the same letter over and over for each application, tweaking wording, and trying not to sound generic.

Motivé asks for:

  • Your experience
  • The job description

Then it generates a tailored cover letter you can edit, reuse, or download.

It’s live and very early-stage, and I’m looking for honest feedback:

  • Does this actually save time?
  • Is the output useful or still too “AI-ish”?
  • What would make this a no-brainer?

If you’ve ever hated writing cover letters, I’d love your thoughts.
